What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can tell us to do about it. In plain English, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Who we are

This site is operated by Alisher Dyussenbay, trading as MoodCast, at Baizakov St 280. I am the data controller for the information described here.

For anything in this policy, email moodcastteam@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you apply to partner

The application form asks for your name, email address, handle or channel, main platform, audience size, and a description of what your audience keeps asking for. We collect exactly what you type and nothing else. There is no hidden field.

We use it to decide whether to work with you and to reply. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

When you just visit

If you accept analytics, we use the Whop pixel to record that a page was viewed and, if you later apply, to link that application back to the ad or link that brought you here. It sets a cookie in your browser.

If you decline, the pixel is never loaded, no cookie is set, and nothing about your visit reaches Whop. The site works identically either way. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

One thing worth being clear about. If you accept analytics and then submit an application, the name and email you typed are sent to Whop along with the conversion event, so we can match applications to the ads that produced them. If you decline analytics, your application is still delivered to us — it simply is not reported to Whop.

Who else handles your data

We use two services, and each sees some of it:

That is the entire list. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than Google Fonts, so no third party learns anything about you simply because a page loaded.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Under UK and EU data protection law we rely on two grounds. Legitimate interest covers handling an application you chose to send us — you asked us to consider working with you, so we need to read and reply to it. Consent covers analytics, which is why the pixel does not load until you say yes and stops mattering the moment you say no.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept for 24 months, so we can look back at who we spoke to and why. After that they are deleted. Analytics data is held under Whop's own retention schedule. Ask us and we will delete your application sooner.

What you can ask for

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. If you are in the UK or EU you can also ask us to restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or send it to you in a portable format.

Email moodcastteam@gmail.com and it will be actioned within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.

If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not fixed it, you can complain to your national data protection authority — the ICO in the UK, or your country's supervisory authority in the EU.

Cookies, specifically

The only cookie this site sets is the Whop analytics cookie, and only with your consent. We store your consent choice itself in your browser's local storage so we do not have to ask on every page — that never leaves your device and is not a cookie.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the site rather than hoping you notice.
